2004-2005 the year of reading when I was a kid, I often put a book under my pullover, pretended I would go out to play and then climbed a tree to read my beloved books. I was always reading. I was crazy for that, I guess this has to do with us not having a TV. luckily... The bad part of it was that my appendix got inflamed because I was sitting outside in the cold for too long and since I am 9 years old I don't have my appendix anymore. well.... so, the prospect of going to a college which would make me read a lot seemed quite a good idea to all who knew me but .... those who know me, know as well, that I developed to a person who is just incapable of restricting herself too much, so there is always a conflict of interests in the end and i have a hard time coordinating all the things I would like to do.....
well yeah, and I admit I didn't read all of the things we had to read but I read a lot...in trains, when waiting for busses, in cafes, at lakes, sitting in trees, lying in bed, couch, sitting in front of this stupid pc and so on and on and on.......oh my god. i remember when I was in Basel, doing this secretary apprenticeship I always told myself, when it got really dry and boring with all the business related stuff we had to read: next year you gonna read TONS of interesting things! well, guess what I tell myself now: next year you don't have to read anything, except for guitar tabs! or maybe a really stupid novel! and newspapers and the source or other nice things!
yes, you get tired after a while. overfed by philosophy.... when people start discussing moral issues at breakfast I could freak out like that. waaaah! quick, where is my discman. aahhh...relief. music.
or going to cinema, to a stupid movie. yeah. no philosophical background, in the worst case just some kitchen philosophy....ahhhhh....thats GOOOD! :-D
